Baku Metro opens its workshop on overhaul and modernisation of wagons

November 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Metro starts repairing its wagons.

The BM reports that for the first time in the history of the Baku Metro, a workshop on capital repairs of the metro cars has been put into operation on the area of electric depot ‘Narimanov’.

"Currently, two cars are under repairs at the workshop. Conditions not only for overhaul but also for upgrading the cars have been created in the workshop. This enables a possibility for the use of new technologies in cars," the BM said.

The workshop is able to carry out capital repairs of 30 cars every year that will allow saving money for the BM.
