Azerbaijan launches first long-distance high-speed train

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) has launched high-speed train Baku-Ganja-Baku.

The Company reports that the high-speed train will operate from 30 December.

The train will leave Baku at 9:00 am and arrive in Ganja at 13:28 pm. The length of the road will be 4 hours and 28 minutes with stops at the Balajari, Yevlakh and Goran railway stations.

Composition of the high-speed train will consist of 4 cars. The entire train is designed for 367 passengers - 9 first class, 62 business class and 296 standard seats.

Cost of tickets for Baku-Ganja ranges from 15 manats up to 100 manats depending on the class.
