Azerbaijan numbers over 3.7 million workers with social insurance

January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan continues taking measures aimed at legalizing labor relations with the purpose to ensure further social security of citizens.

The Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of Azerbaijan informs that last year 170,000 employees were registered in the system of individual accounting.

"An increase in the number of socially insured persons for the year made up 4.8% or 169,806 employees and 3.736 million people as of 1 January 2019," the Ministry said.
