January 30, Fineko/abc.az. During his speech at the conference on the State Program of Socio-Economic Development of the Regions of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev noted that the process of creating social infrastructure will continue.

"Despite the fact that 3,272 schools were built and renovated, those schools make up 73% of the existing school fund. But there are schools that need repairs, and these works will be envisaged within the next state program. Construction of hospitals and Olympic complexes will also be continued.  This year alone it is expected to open three Olympic complexes that will contribute to development of sports in the districts of Azerbaijan," the country’s head said.
