Russian PM transfers Rosturizm under authority of Economic Development Ministry

February 6, Fineko/abc.az. The head of the Russian Federal Tourism Agency (Rosturizm), Oleg Safonov, has been dismissed from his post.

Cabinet Ministers’ press service reports that the relevant order was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

When discussing the question of subsidies for domestic tourism industry during the meeting with his deputies, the PM recalled his last year's decision to transfer Rosturizm from the Ministry of Culture to the Ministry of Economic Development.

In this regard, he tasked the government staff to prepare proposals on strengthening the work in this direction.
