State bodies in Azerbaijan bought 400 locally-made cars in 2018

February 9, Fineko/abc.az. Azermash OJSC sold 1,000 cars in 2018 and 250 Khazar model cars since early 2019.

Azermash’s chairman of board Emin Akhundov has stated that about 400 automobiles of them were purchased by governmental agencies and the rest by private individuals.

"Up to 30% of motor vehicles were sold on credit conditions," Akhundov said.

He emphasized that this year they plan to produce up to 3,000 automobiles with manual and automatic transmission, depending on the orders. Cost of cars ranges from AZN 13,500 to AZN 21,000.
