Baku bus passengers to be rewarded for complaints about smoking bus drivers

February 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Transport Agency (BNA) is launching a new project within the framework of the Law on Restriction of the Use of Tobacco Products.

BNA reports that according to the project, passengers can take part in bringing smoking drivers to administrative responsibility.

"To do this, the bus passenger must send a clear photo of the driver, identification number or state registration number of the bus, and the route number to the BNA official page in Facebook or at email address [email protected]. The information will be published within 24 hours. The driver will be fined 40-50 manats," BNA informed.

BNA encourages bus passengers to be active and even promises to reward the most active informant passenger.
