February 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways’ (ADY) chair Javid Gurbanov received a delegation led by Andreas Matte, general director of Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB-Holding AG).

During the meeting Mr. Matte stated that relations between Azerbaijan and Austria have been expanding in all spheres, including economic ones, in recent years.

"The Austrian side is interested in intensifying these ties," Mr. Matte said.

Gurbanov informed the delegates in details about the Trans-Caspian international transport route, transport corridors North-South, South-West, and in particular the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line opened in October 2017. Then the parties covered relations of bilateral cooperation and decided to continue its expansion.
