February 21, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud praised the OPEC+ deal and the efficiency of energy interaction.

The relevant statement was made by Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

"Russia - Saudi Arabia cooperation in the international energy markets is going to continue. The effectiveness of this interaction was highly appreciated by both the Saudi King and the Russian leader," the Kremlin representative said.

At the same time Peskov did not give a specific answer to the question when the visit of the Russian president to the Kingdom could take place.

"The date of the visit will be coordinated further and be agreed through diplomatic channels," he emphasized.

Earlier, the Kremlin’s press service reported that following the phone conversation between President Putin and King Salman confirmed their readiness to keep on coordinating actions in the world hydrocarbon markets.

The schedule of upcoming contacts at various levels was discussed as well.
