February 22, Fineko/abc.az. The use of unmanned technologies in the movement of cars on public roads should be legislated at the end of September 2021.

This is stated in the passport of national project "Safe & Quality Roads", published on the website of the government of the Russian Federation.

According to the document, the concept of road safety with the participation of unmanned vehicles on public roads should be approved in September 2019.

By the end of 2020, the technologies that will ensure such movement should be developed. And by the end of 2021, laws allowing such movement should be adopted, as well as transport systems that will allow the use of unmanned vehicles in the first 27 sections.

By the end of 2024, the movement of unmanned vehicles in Russia should be provided already at 55 sites.
