Tourists go to Azerbaijan mainly by train and by car

February 25, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan has published figures on the number of foreigners coming to the country and the types of transport they use.

The Committee reports that 191,600 foreigners and stateless persons arrived in the country in January of the year that is by 2.9% more than in January 2018.

"63.8% came to the country by rail and road transport, 35.4% by air and 0.8% by water transport," the SSC said in a statement.
