November 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan observes demand for security deposits.

The Financial Market Supervision Chamber informs that for Jan-Oct of the year security deposits amounted to AZN 108.588 million within the framework of accumulative life insurance

"Compared with Jan-Oct 2016, bank deposits as premiums on accumulative life insurance grew by 63.9% or AZN 42.337 million as for Jan-Oct 2016 the finances invested in accumulative insurance totaled AZN 66.25 million," the Chamber reported.

Compensation payments on accumulative life insurance have also increased by 30.8% or AZN 21.566 million up to AZN 91.55 million. Over Jan-Oct 2016 payments on this type of insurance reached AZN 69.986 million.
