Azerbaijan can declare Sunday as workday

March 5, Fineko/abc.az. A proposal to make Sunday a working day has sounded at Milli Majlis today.

MP Fazil Mustafa stated during today's plenary session that people are often busy with their personal affairs on weekends.

"For example, sale and purchase of cars is often carried out on Sundays. People can't do it during working hours. Therefore, it would be good if some important services would be provided to the population on Sundays as well. I suggest to make Sunday a working day and make an ordinary working day a day off for such workers," the MP said.
