Boeing`s shares at New York stock exchange fell almost by 9% after a plane crash in Ethiopia

March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The shares of Boeing aircraft concern fell by 8.7% to $386 for the paper in the preliminary auction at the New York stock exchange on Monday, according to the trading platform data.

TASS reports that after the crash Ethiopian Airlines temporarily suspended the flights of this liner. The authorities of China and Mongolia also announced the suspension of flights by Boeing 737 Max 8.

This is the second crash of an American aircraft of this modification for the last 5 months. On 29 October 2018 Boeing 737 Max 8 of Indonesian airline Lion Air, which operated a domestic flight from Jakarta to Pankalpinang, fell into the Javanese Sea. As a result, 189 people were killed. After that, Boeing has warned airlines that because of inexact indicators of system operations, the aircrafts can go into a steep dive.
