ASAN monitors construction market

November 27, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency for Public Service & Social Innovations under the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan has conducted monitoring on the construction market.

ASAN informs that the goal of the monitoring is to identify labor law violations in construction companies and protection of labour rights of citizens.

"The monitoring covered 76 legal entities and individuals engaged in construction of residential buildings in Baku. During the monitoring it was established that 264 people were working without employment or official (civil) contract. The findings of the monitoring were sent to the Ministry of Labour & Social Protection and the General Prosecutor's Office for appropriate actions," the Agency said in a statement.

ASAN is going to continue monitoring in the area.
