April 4, Fineko/abc.az. South Korea has become the first in the world to begin commercial use of 5G mobile network: the night before three leading S Korean operators SK Telecom Co., KT Corp. and LG Uplus Inc. started providing services in this format.

The S Korean Ministry of Science & ICT informs that according to government’s plans, the 5G network will be initially available only in major metropolitan areas such as Seoul, and by the end of this year, the coverage area will be about 85% of all densely populated areas.

5g networks will allow you to exchange information in real time at speeds of more than 10 Gbps that is by 30 times faster than 4G networks. 5g technologies also provide large network capacity and minimal response time when loading data.
