April 5, Fineko/abc.az. Non-bank credit organizations and persons with problem loans will be able to receive funds in cash and non-cash form from postal operator Azerpoct LLC.

Payments of Azerpoct will be carried out through money transfers and plastic cards. The amounts of up to 500 manats will be paid in cash, and the amounts exceeding 500 manats will be given to the lender by means of plastic cards. Services related to repayment of problem loans will be provided by Azerpoct free of charge.

For that citizens are not required to apply to Azerpoct’s central office or its call-center (169).

At the beginning of the process the citizen will be sent a message to his mobile phone number, registered at the time of loan taking.

The message will indicate the amount of compensation to be paid to the individual, information about the credit institution on the credit of which the compensation is paid or about the credit institution in the process of liquidation (name, address, contact details), information about the credit institution or national postal operator, where the individual will be able to receive a payment card, to which the amount of compensation is transferred, as well as information about the date of transfer of money.

Currently, there is not exact information about how many individuals will be covered by the operation of Azerpoct.
