Azerbaijan and Pakistan agree to open direct charter flight


April 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Pakistan are likely to organize charter flights.

Chundari Anis Igbal, the head of the Pakistani office of the Association of Entrepreneurs & Industrialists of Turkey (TUMSIAD), has stated that the issue is now at the final stage of negotiations.

"AZAL and the government of Pakistan have agreed to carry out charter flights. We need to hold another meeting and discuss the details," the representative said.

He pointed out that the number of Pakistani tourists visiting Azerbaijan is growing. Thus, last year 22,000 tourists from Pakistan visited Azerbaijan and their number is expected to grow up to 32,000 by September.
