Russia`s Smartavia to fly to Baku from summer


April 11, Fineko/abc.az. Russian airline Smartavia is planning to start flights to Azerbaijan this summer.

Smartavia’s commercial director Svetlana Rodionova has stated that in its summer schedule the airline will operate flights via more than 60 routes, and 18 of them will be carried out by the airline from Pulkovo airport.

"Among the new destinations will also be Vladikavkaz, Mineral Vody, and Gelendzhik. Also, we plan to increase the frequency of flights to the Georgian cities of Tbilisi and Batumi and launch flights to Rostov and Ufa. Besides, within its route network Smartavia will connect Simferopol, Anapa and Sochi with other cities of Russia. In addition, the airline plans to fly to Turkey," Rodionova emphasized.
