Azerbaijan’s export lowered by 4% for Jan-Feb

April 16, Fineko/abc.az. The legal entities and individuals carried out foreign trade operations with 144 countries (including import with 86 and export with 138 countries) over Jan-Feb 2019.

"For the first two months of the year country’s external trade turnover amounted to $5.12 bn, including import for $2.955 bn and export for $2.165 bn. As a result, positive balance of $789.6 million was formed," the State Statistics Committee reported.

Compared with Jan-Feb 2018, the reporting term’s foreign trade turnover with actual prices increased by 13%, including import rise of 49.1% and export fall by 4%. In real terms, turnover grew by 6.1%, import by 18.7%, and export by 0.1%.

For the reported two months of 2019 the non-oil products were exported for $281.6 million that is by 16.5% more versus the same term of 2018.
