Car import in Azerbaijan increased 2.3 times

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar Azerbaijan imported 7,978 cars.

The State Statistics Committee informs that the import of cars increased by 2.3 times against the same term of 2018.

"Compared with the same period of 2018, the number of motor vehicles intended for transportation of 10 and more people, including the driver, increased by 2.3 times up to 44 cars, passenger cars and other motor vehicles intended for transportation of people by 2.3 times up to 7,250, motor vehicles intended for cargo transportation by 2.03 times up to 643, motor vehicles of special purpose by 3.2 times up to 41 cars," the Committee informed.
