Manat retail deposits in banks total AZN 8.2 bn

April 19, Fineko/abc.az. According to Central Bank’s data, as of 1 March 2019 the retail deposits in manats increased by 6% up to AZN 8.213 bn versus the same term of 2018.
The State Statistics Committee reports that 59.4% of population’s deposits were made in foreign currency and 40.6% in national currency. The retail deposits in national currency increased by 13.5% and in foreign currency by 1.4% versus the same term of the past year.
