Oil rises in price, while Brent is traded at $73.7 a barrel

April 22, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are showing strong growth in today's trading.

Quotations of WTI oil futures for May, trading of which ends today, on the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX), rise by 15:20 pm by $1.20 (2.02%) up to $65.29 a barrel. The June’s WTI contract rises in price by $1.35 (2.11%) to $65.42 a barrel. On Friday, trading was not held in connection with the Easter Holiday. Following the session on Thursday, the price of May’s futures WTI increased by $0.35 (0.49%) and ended the day at the level of $71.97.

June’s futures for Brent crude oil on the London Stock Exchange ICE Futures rose by $1.72 (2.39%) up to $73.69 a barrel by 15:20 pm. On Thursday, their price increased by $0.35 (0.49%) up to $71.97 a barrel at the closing of trading.
