Sea port loading and unloading operations reached 2 million tons in Q1 of 2019

April 25, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee informs that for Jan-Mar of the year the loading and unloading operations in the amount of 2,095,700 tons were carried out at sea ports.

Transit cargo totaled 1,874,300 tons or 89.4% of overall cargo. As of 1 April the cargo remaining in the ports amounted to 59,100 tons.

For the first 3 months the number of passengers transported by sea increased by 44.4% (versus the same period of 2018) and reached 3,900 people.
