Gold investments make up 7.4% of SOFAZ dollar portfolio

April 26, Fineko/abc.az. According to the investment report of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) for Q1 of 2019, as of 31 March the US dollar makes up 55% of SOFAZ investment portfolio, euro 33.3%, pound sterling 5%, Australian dollar 0.6%, Turkish lira 0.8%, Russian ruble 0.6%, S Korean won is 0.5%, Chinese yuan 1.2%, Japanese yen 1.6% and other currencies 1.4%.

According to the report, investments in gold total $2.973 bn (7.4%) of the SOFAZ dollar portfolio.

Also, part of SOFAZ investment portfolio includes about 680,000 ($400,000).
