Food production increased by 32.7%

May 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Statistics Department’s report says that versus Jan-Mar 2018 the production of tobacco products increased by 98.5%, beverages by 65.8% and food by 32.7%.

In the 1st quarter production of foods, beverages and tobacco products in the capital amounted to AZN 294.9 million.

Also, compared with the data of the same month of 2018, the production of cheese and cottage cheese grew by 3.5 times, sweet cookies by 2.5 times, salt, useful for human nutrition by 13.3%.
