A job fair for IDPs offered 881 vacancies

May 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Labour & Social Protection together with the State Committee for Refugees & IDPs has organized a labour fair for internally displaced persons in the Absheron district.

The fair presented 881 vacancies from 80 companies.

In the 1st quarter of 2019 the State Employment Service provided work to 1,876 IDPs, and 1,529 IDPs were drawn to social work paid on an employment contract within the "DOST of Unemployed" Program.

The labour fair serves to support the access of the unemployed and job-seekers among IDPs to the labour & employment market.
