Retail deposits in banks grew by 1.7% for March

May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Individuals' deposits reached AZN 8.25 bn in March of the current year.

In March the deposits increased by 1.7% (AZN 135 million). During the month a rise in the retail deposit portfolio occurred due to term deposits. Term deposits of individuals for March grew by 2.5% (AZN 135.8 million) up to AZN 5.465 bn.

For the past 1st quarter of 2019 the deposits of legal entities increased by 0.1% (AZN 7 million) up to AZN 10.318 bn. A rise was reached due to term deposits. Thus, during the reporting period the term deposits of legal entities increased by 19.2% (AZN 278.1 million).
