May 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Financial Market Supervision Authority (FIMSA) of Azerbaijan has already paid 84% of compensations for problem loans.

The Authority informs that in compliance with the presidential decree the process of compensation on problem (dollar) loans as a result of double devaluation covers totally 602,000 loan borowers.

"As of 13 May of the year 506,000 loan borrower citizens have already received compensation. Thus, the plan on giving of dollar loan compensations has been fulfilled by 84%. As a result, the amount of overdue loans was reduced for 243,000 people, while another 263,000 people received compensation in cash and non-cash form," FIMSA said.
