More than 175 million tons of oil produced at Neft Dashlari so far

May 21, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has reported that more than 175 million tons of oil and 13.55 bn cu m of natural gas are extracted on oil fields.

It should be noted that oilfield Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks) has been operated since 1949. On 7 November of the same year well #1 was put into operation. Neft Dashlari is the world's first offshore oil platform, which got in the Guinness Book of Records.
