May 24, Fineko/abc.az. The workgroup established to ensure the implementation of the measures stipulated by the "Oil & Gas Industry Strategic Roadmap" has conducted a meeting at the Ministry of Energy.

Workgroup’s chair and Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov stated that the Strategic Roadmap of the Ministry of Energy is taking part in eight events as the main executor. Implementation of two events was completed, and work on six events was fulfilled.

The meeting participants discussed the extension of the deadline for detailed assessment and analysis of some activities envisaged in 2019, definition of production targets in accord with the goals of the national economy, preparation of the proposals for improving the regulation of the fuel market and other issues.

The workgroup includes representatives of the Ministries of Economy, of Environment & Natural Resources, of Taxes, of Finance, SOCAR, SOCAR PETROLEUM, SOCAR Polymer LLC, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences and the Export & Investment Promotion Foundation of Azerbaijan.
