May 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan electric company Azerenergy OJSC has completed the construction of the 220 kV high voltage electric transmission line, laid on the basis of 330 kV line from power station Canub (South) in the city of Shirvan to Khirdalan substation. The line has been put into operation.

Azerenerji reports that if there are any problems in the high-voltage lines coming into the city from Mingachevir or Sangachal power plants, the new line running from Shirvan-based power plant Canub will play a special role in the energy supply of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.

In addition, when the new line is put into operation, it will be possible to transfer the load on it for repair and restoration work without stopping the supply of electricity to the city.
