May 29, Fineko/abc.az. In compliance with the Presidential Decree #643 from 15 April 2019, among the new types of pensions the Presidential Pension in the amount of 50 manats has been established from 1 April 2019 to those persons who care for persons with disabilities of 1st degree or for children under the age of 18 years with disabilities.

City (district) offices of the State Social Protection Fund have started accepting documents from citizens for the purpose of these pensions.

If an application is submitted by a family member of the 1st degree disabled person, it is provided a document confirming their family ties, and the application of a person with a disability that the applicant is really caring for his health (if the application is not filed by a person with 1st degree disability, it must be certified by a notary).

And in case of the address of the person caring for the person with disability who is not the member of his family, the petition of the body of guardianship should be submitted for appointment of patronage and the petition for disability.

Persons caring for children under the age of 18 with disabilities are paid pensions to persons in the name of whom social benefits are issued in connection with their disabilities. In this case, the presentation of documents is not required.

Persons caring for two or more children in a family with 1st degree disability or for children under the age of 18 with disabilities are granted and paid a pension for each of these children.
