May 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC informs that this year it is expected to process 72,500 tons of cotton at the cotton processing plant Azərpambıq ASK, located in Agjabedi district of the country.

Once the plant is fully operational, cotton will be accepted by the same enterprise from points located in the surrounding areas. The plant will supply and process 10,000 tons on Agjabedi, 1,500 tons on Aghdam, 3,375 tons on Terter and 3,000 tons on Goranboy district, and totally 17,875 tons of cotton.

Now the plant began work on dismantling of the old, written-off equipment. The new cotton processing plant is to be launched simultaneously with the period of mass harvesting of cotton.
