May 30, Fineko/abc.az. With the purpose to support the development of agriculture and livestock in the districts of the country and promote to the expansion of micro-and small businesses, the Agency for Development of Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises of Azerbaijan (KOBIA), operating under the Ministry of Economy, has put into operation feed-milling enterprises in the Balaken and Zagatala districts within the framework of project Socio-Economic Development Activity in Azerbaijan (SEDA) implemented jointly by the Azerbaijani Government and the US Agency for International Development.

A production site and a warehouse have been constructed at the feed processing enterprises, and each of which has equipment for cleaning of two tons of seeds per hour, grinding of feed and grass.

A feed processing plant in Tasmali village of Gakh district will be transferred to the use of local residents on 30 May.
