Rovnag Abdullayev: SOCAR reaches financial indicators of pre-oil crisis level

June 4, Fineko/abc.az. In 2017 and 2018 SOCAR managed to bring its financial indicators up to the level of the oil crisis and its profit became financially successful, SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev said.

According to Abdullayev, the positive balance achieved last year is based on increase in prices on the world oil market, operation of STAR refinery and the polypropylene plant, increase in profits from petrochemical products and growth of natural gas sales within Shah Deniz Project 2.

"In the coming years, we will strive to maintain this positive trend through the completion of new projects and sustainable operation," the SOCAR president emphasized.
