Central Bank: Inflation changes in predicted trajectory

June 7, Fineko/abc.az. The annual inflation made up 3.1% in Azerbaijan at the end of April.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) reports that inflation is changing in the projected trajectory.

"At the end of April 2019 the inflation for 12 months made up 3.1%. At the same time the foods rose in price by 3.5%, non-foods by 1.4%, and services by 3.8%," the CBA informed.

According to forecasts, the inflation will be in the target range of 4±2% until the end of 2019.

The Azerbaijani government forecasts the average annual inflation at the level of 3.8% for 2019.

In 2018, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan made up 2.3%.
