Microsoft will participate in the conference and exhibition IT / TI WCO 2019

June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Microsoft is one of the partners of the WCO IT / TI 2019 conference and exhibition, which is organized and sponsored by the World Customs Organization and will take place in Baku on June 12-14.

The event will pioneer gathering together the public and private sectors to discuss the ongoing and future trends, challenges, and perspectives of the global customs and trade. The main theme of this year’s event is “SMART - new opportunities for trade, travel, and transportation”.

Microsoft is helping to streamline e-Customs and e-Commerce businesses around the world. The company offers simplified, standardized, customized, and commercial solutions to reduce transaction costs and increase security in international trade. Created for secure data transmission and collaboration, the one-stop shop National Window System, which applies the best global practices in risk assessment, is just one of many solutions Microsoft offers to customs officials. Microsoft's ultimate goal is to make the latest innovations, such as IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain available to customs services.

The IT / TI 2019 conference and exhibition will see Microsoft introduce and showcase most advanced solutions and technologies that will be essential in facilitating the customs and trade operations:

• Microsoft will talk about the “Internet of Things”. IoT is a solution that transmits information about the products and manufacturers to consumers in real time. Microsoft sets to reveal the possible advantages of IoT, as well as the Blockchain technology for customs and border service authorities in getting and consecutively using such information in their operations.

• As part of the TechTalk, Microsoft will present the latest technologies in building risk management strategies in e-Customs and e-Trade.

• At the trade show, Microsoft will introduce the latest innovative solutions for e-Customs and e-Commerce. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore “mixed reality” with HoloLens.
