June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has met with a delegation led by Thomas Opperman, Vice President of German Bundestag.

During the meeting the parties discussed the projects implemented with the participation of German companies in the energy sector, as well as the role of the Southern Gas Corridor, the Project on Energy Security & Energy Diversification, which provides for the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe.

In the course of the conversation the sides stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation in bilateral relationships and exchanged views on the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany in other areas.
