Baku resorts get in Top 5 of best resorts for summer holidays on CIS area


June 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Absheron resorts of Baku have been included Top 5 of best resorts on the CIS area for summer holidays.

Analytical agency Turstat reports that visa-free entry, knowledge of Russian language and hospitality of local residents, inexpensive rest, delicious local food and fruits are the main advantages of summer holidays in the CIS member countries.

"Burabay resort in Kazakhstan, the Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan, the Naroch Lake in Belarus, the resorts of Absheron District of Baku on the Caspian Sea coastline and the Sevan Lake in Armenia make up Top 5 of popular summer holiday resorts of the CIS countries," the Agency says in a statement.

According to Turstat, Russian tourists come to the resorts of the CIS in the summer for one or two weeks, and their tourist budget ranges from $50 to $110 a day.

"The rest will cost as cheapest in Issyk-Kul and as the most expensive in the resorts of Baku," Turstat informed.

The rating is based on the results of the analysis of resort attendance by Russian tourists and the development of resort infrastructure.
