June 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CB TR) has published weekly monetary and banking statistics.

According to the forecast, the total amount of savings in the banking sector (including interbank) will be reduced to 3.856 bn liras by the end of the week ending on 7 July. During this period the deposits in TL in banks will decrease to 1.11 trillion liras and the deposits in foreign currency will increase up to 1.206 trillion liras.

Last week, foreign deposits in banks increased by 2.702 bn dollars and amounted to 216.77 bn dollars.

According to assumptions, the total volume of lending of the banking sector (including the Central Bank of TR) by 7 June decreased to 14.93 bn liras.
