Finance Minister: Solution of problem loans had a positive impact on financial condition of banks

June 21, Fineko/abc.az. In addition to the positive impact on the financial condition of people, compensation payments to persons with problem loans indirectly improved much the banking system.

Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said that a large number of loans were marked by banks as problematic.

"This had a negative impact on the capitals of banks. This has led to a decrease in the adequacy ratio. The solution of problem loans has led to the fact that many banks have improved their financial situation in a short time," the minister said.
