June 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship has conducted a meeting today.

Vugar Gulmamedov, chair of the Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan, stated that the orders signed recently by President Ilham Aliyev, along with socially vulnerable groups, are aimed at improving the welfare of the country's population as a whole.

"As can be seen from the Draft Law on the State Budget of Azerbaijan for 2019, the budget of the Social Protection Fund (DSMF) in 2019 increases by AZN 200 million. As a result of this increase, DSMF's dependence on the State Budget is expected to decrease from 38.3% to 32.8%," Gulmamedov emphasized.
