June 21, Fineko/abc.az. On 22 June Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov of Azerbaijan will take part in a regular meeting of the World Petroleum Council and the 6th Youth Forum in St. Petersburg.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy informs that within the meeting the WPC will determine the country to host the World Petroleum Congress in 2023. Azerbaijan, represented in the World Petroleum Council since 2005, is also one of the five candidate countries.

On 23 June the minister will take part in the 6th Youth Forum organized by the World Petroleum Council with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia. At the forum Parviz Shahbazov will deliver speech on the theme "Energy Transformation, Energy Map of the Future".
