June 27, Fineko/abc.az. There is a need to systematize the tourism sector in Azerbaijan.

Addressing to the 1st Assembly of the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan, Fuad Nagiyev, the chairman of the State Tourism Agency, has stated that a register to be created in Azerbaijan until the end of 2019 will contain information about travel agencies, hotels and, in general, organizations engaged in tourism.

"Currently, our country is numbering about 3,000 travel agencies. And there is a need to systematize this sphere. The Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan will help us prepare the register. We are also working over the drafting of a new law on tourism," Nagiyev said.
