Oil rises in price after a 5% decline, and Azeri Light falls to $64.72 a barrel

July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has decreased in price by $2.03 (3.04%) to $64.72 a barrel.

Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing during Wednesday’s trading after a strong fall a day before.

Following Tuesday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of September’s futures of Brent oil dropped by $2.66 (4.09%) to $62.40 a barrel.

On Wednesday, Brent oil futures for September has grown in price by $0.20 (0.32%) up to $62.60 a barrel by 9:35 am.

Following the 2 July trading at the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX), the WTI oil futures for August slumped in price by $2.84 (4.8%) to $56.25 a barrel.

On Wednesday, the cost of WTI oil futures for August grew in price by $0.19 (0.34%) up to $56.44 a barrel by 9:35 am.
