Average monthly salary of employees in Baku has grown

July 3, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Apr 2019 the average monthly nominal wage of employees working in the Azerbaijani capital increased by 3.9% (versus last year’s relevant period) up to 820 manats.

The Baku Statistics Department reports that employees of enterprises and organizations engaged in industrial, financial and insurance, professional, scientific and technical, information and communication, construction activities had the highest average monthly salary.

The lowest wages were paid to employees of enterprises and organizations of health and social services, agriculture, real estate operations, education, recreation, entertainment and art.
