July 10, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 6 months of 2019 Azerbaijan exported crude oil to Ukraine for $159.99 million that is 96.83% of country's total oil imports for the 1st half of the year.

The main importer of oil is company Ukrtatnafta, which has a long-term contract with SOCAR for the supply of Azerbaijani oil.

For Jan-Jun 2019 Ukraine reduced the volume of oil imports by 96,800 tons (23.2%) to 319,698 tons compared with the 2018 same term. The amount of imported oil amounted to $165.2 million that is by 27.3% less than for the 2018 same term.

In the 1st half of the year Ukraine imported oil for $2.596 million from Kazakhstan, $2.321 million from Latvia, and $327,000 from other countries.

In 2018 Ukraine imported 766,800 tons of oil for $431.7 million.
