July 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has grown in price by $2.33 (3.54%) up to $68.11 a barrel.

The prices for oil of standard grades keep on rising on Thursday.

WTI quotations finished the day above $60 a barrel for the first time since May and reached the highest level for 7 months of the year.

Following Wednesday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of September’s futures of Brent oil jumped by $2.85 (4.44%) up to $67.01 a barrel.

On Thursday, Brent oil futures for September grew in price by $0.12 (0.18%) up to $67.13 a barrel by 9:25 am.

Following the 10 July trading at the NIMYX Exchange the price of August’s futures of WTI oil soared by $2.60 (4.5%) up to $60.43 a barrel.

On Thursday, the cost of WTI oil futures for August increased in price by $0.16 (0.26%) up to $60.59 a barrel by 9:25 am.
