July 12, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 2,568 cash machines operating throughout Azerbaijan, 1,376 ones are located in Baku.

This data has been published in the report by 1 June 2019 on the official website of the Ministry of Taxes.

The report says that 1,192 cash machines are located in other cities and districts. Since the beginning of 2019 the number of cash machines has increased by 66 ones or 2.64%.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan informs that as of 1 June the number of POS-terminals in the country reached 66,426 ones. Of them, 41,035 ones are located in Baku, while 25,391 in other cities and districts. In May of the year the country numbered 3.9 cash machines and 0.15 POS-terminals for every 1,000 people.
